CSPA giving a voice to retired public servants

CSPA giving a voice to retired public servants

By David Luxton

On the International Day of Older Persons, the Civil Service Pensioners Alliance is rallying the #AgeingEqual campaign to:

  • Maintain and improve the value of public sector pensions;
  • Initiate and participate in actions which will benefit pensioners;
  • Promote the economic and social well-being of pensioners
  • Promote equality for women pensioners, including addressing the injustice of British women born in the 1950`s who have seen their qualifying age for State pension increase rapidly as part of austerity measures in 2011, causing hardship for thousands of women dependent on the basic State Pension.

CSPA works with our partner pensioner organisations and our members to achieve effective political and media lobbying to influence policies for the benefit of all pensioners.

The Civil Service Pensioners Alliance (CSPA) is the UK represents over 50,000 retired civil servants and other public sector pensioners and exists to give a collective voice to pensioners who otherwise would not be heard. They are recognised by the Government as the official representative body for Civil Service pensioners, and support the AGE Platform Europe #AgeingEqual campaign.
